What the app handles
Information used to run pet transport operations
The current app handles the following categories for the operational purposes described here:
- Account identity and email verification. An operator account includes identity details such as name and email address, along with its email-verification status and the information needed to complete verification. This supports account creation, sign-in, and verified access.
- Authentication session and security metadata. The authentication system keeps session and expiration information and may keep security metadata such as an IP address or user-agent value. This supports sign-in state, session security, and access control for the operator app.
- Customer contact details. Operators can manage a customer name, phone number, and email address. These details help the operator coordinate a trip and can be carried into its owner contact fields.
- Trip and route records. Dispatch records can include pet name, species, breed, and notes; owner name, phone, and email; pickup and drop-off times; pickup and drop-off facility names and addresses; vehicle; trip status; and route notes. These records support scheduling, dispatch, and the work needed to complete a pet ride.
- Reusable trip templates. Operators can save a template name, recurrence cadence, and reusable customer, owner, pet, facility, address, and vehicle details. This helps prepare repeat trips without re-entering the same operational information.
- Quotes and fare allocations. The app can store quote inputs and results such as base fare, distance or zone adjustments, surcharges, and total, as well as fare-allocation records with fare, platform-fee, driver-payout, status, and optional provider-reference fields. These records support pricing and operational accounting for a trip.
Customer-facing links
What a trip confirmation shows
An operator can create a public confirmation link for an active trip. The link is a bearer link: anyone who receives the link may open it without a Paw Courier account. It is intended to show only the limited trip details needed by its recipient: the trip status; pet name, species, and breed; pickup and drop-off times; and pickup and drop-off facility names and addresses.
The customer confirmation projection does not include the operator's account details, owner contact fields, route notes, vehicle, quote, or fare-allocation records. Because possession of the URL grants access to the intended view, a recipient should avoid sharing the confirmation link beyond the people who need those trip details.
Supporting processing
How current features use information
- Email verification. Verification messages are delivered to the account email address through the installed email service. The message contains the verification link needed to confirm the address.
- Optional page-view analytics. When a deployment enables the analytics setting, a browser-stored visitor identifier is created or reused in local storage and a small page-view beacon is sent to the configured Polsia analytics endpoint. When that deploy setting is absent, the analytics component does not send the beacon.
- PDF generation. The PDF endpoint validates document data supplied by the app, such as a title, metadata, line items, totals, notes, and footer, then processes that data to produce a PDF download. The supplied document data is used for that generated document.
Questions and requests
Security, retention, and changes
Paw Courier uses authenticated operator access and a limited public projection for confirmation links. No online service can guarantee complete security, so please share confirmation links only with the people who need them.
The current app does not establish a fixed retention or deletion schedule in this statement. If you have a question about information handled by Paw Courier, or want to ask about access, correction, or deletion, contact the business using the details below. Paw Courier will review the request and explain what can be done; this statement does not promise a particular outcome or response deadline.
This statement may be updated if the app or its information practices change. The date above indicates when this page was last updated.
